The demand for SUV cars is increasing in the Indian market, in view of which the focus of vehicle manufacturing companies has become maximum in this particular segment. In this sequence, today Nissan India has introduced its 3 SUV cars for the Indian market, which are seen in a very stylish look. The names of these three models are X-Trail, Qashqai, and Juke.
Recently, many buy-in vehicles have been spotted in the Indian market during testing. Nissan aims to assess the suitability of SUVs for the Indian car market, hence the company is assessing the capability of each vehicle to meet the needs of the buyers.
Nissan will produce these vehicles at its Chennai plant. The company is working fast on these three vehicles which can be introduced in the Indian market soon. Nissan said that once the testing is complete, the X-Trail will first be offered for sale, followed by other models.
The Nissan X-Trail is a premium Executive SUV, available in either a 5-seat or a 7-seat option, which takes on the likes of the Volkswagen Tiguan and Skoda Kodiaq. The latest variant is built on Renault-Nissan’s CMF-C platform and when offered overseas with either a 2.5-liter petrol engine or a 1.5-liter turbo-petrol mild-hybrid powertrain.
