The new retro-styled motorcycle from the British two-wheeler is set to be launched in the global markets in 2023. This motorcycle will compete directly with the Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 and Kawasaki Z650RS. It can be based on a tubular steel dual-cradle frame.

Although its India launch timeline is yet to be revealed, it is speculated that it may arrive by March 2023. Let us tell you that the price of BSA retro bike in the UK starts from around Rs 6.23 lakh. But the price of this model is estimated to be Rs 2.9 lakh thanks to the local production.

BSA Gold Star 650cc Engine

In the Indian market, this motorcycle will compete directly with the Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 and Kawasaki Z650RS. It could be based on tubular steel, dual-cradle frame. The BSA Gold Star 650 draws power from a 652cc, liquid-cooled, four-valve engine. The unit has a DOHC setup and generates 45bhp power at 6,000rpm and 55Nm torque at 4,000rpm. Its engine makes torque as low as 1,800rpm. Its transmission duties are done by a 5-speed unit.

BSA Gold Star 650cc Weight

Talking about the suspension of the bike, the new BSA 650cc bike has 41mm telescopic forks and twin rear shock absorbers at the rear. This model is equipped with single-disc front and rear brakes with Brembo calipers. At the same time, dual-channel ABS (Anti-Lock Braking System) is standard in this bike. The capacity of this fuel tank is 12 liters. The curb weight of the bike is 213 kg.

BSA Gold Star 650cc Design

In terms of design and styling, the new Gold Star 650 is identical to the original BSA Gold Stars. It also gets halogen headlamps, a teardrop-shaped fuel tank, 18-inch front and 17-inch rear wheels with Pirelli Phantom Sports Comp tires, and LED tail lamps. Along with this, the bike also gets a reverse sweep instrument, a twin-pod analog speedometer and tachometer with an LCD multi-functional display, a handlebar-mounted USB charger, and a slipper clutch.
