Maruti Suzuki will introduce the third-generation Alto K10 in India in August 2022. The entry-level hatchback is offered in a total of 6 variants spread across four trims – Std, LXi, VXi and VXi+. The prices of this vehicle in the Indian market start from Rs.3.99 Lakhs and go up to Rs.5.84 Lakhs (all ex-showroom).

Strong discount is available in December sale

Maruti is offering huge discounts on this vehicle to clear its stock at the end of the year. This discount is based on the variant. The company is offering a discount of up to Rs 50,000 on the new Maruti Alto K10 at the end of the year. Customers can avail benefits of up to Rs 50,000 on its manual variant which includes cash discount, exchange bonus and corporate benefits.

This variant will get a discount of up to Rs 30,000.

Cash discounts of Rs 30,000, Rs 25,000 and Rs 15,000 are available on the Alto K10 LXI MT, VXI MT and VXI MT respectively. The AMT-equipped variant can be bought with an exchange bonus of Rs 15,000 and corporate benefits of Rs 5,000. Maruti Alto 800 also has the offer. Customers buying this can avail total benefits of Rs 34,000, which includes cash discount of up to Rs 15,000, an exchange bonus of Rs 15,000 and corporate discount of Rs 4,000. No cash discount is being offered on the new Alto K10 AMT model.

Alto K10 CNG launched last month

Alto K10 CNG was launched last month, where the company claimed that the mileage of Alto K10 CNG will be around 33.85 kmpl. That is, in one kg of CNG, this car can run about 33 km. The Alto K10 is powered by a 1.0-litre K-Series Dual-Jet, Dual VVT engine and returns a mileage of around 25 kmpl on petrol. Apart from the engine, other major changes on the new Alto K10 include a restyled grille at the front and redesigned wheel caps on the 13-inch wheels.

The car comes with a touchscreen display and supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity. It is Rs 94,000 costlier than its standard petrol counterpart. The vehicle comes with a Dual VVT petrol engine which is mated to a factory-fitted CNG kit. On CNG, this car generates power of 56.69 PS at 5,300 rpm and peak torque of 82.1 Nm at 3,400 rpm.
