This fault may cause the seat belt to break in case of an impact, which can have serious consequences. Because of this, Maruti Suzuki has decided to recall its vehicles.

The company said in the statement, “Keeping in mind the safety of our customers and taking precautions, the company has decided to recall its vehicles for inspection and also to replace the parts found defective. Affected Vehicle owners will get to know about this from the registered workshop of Maruti Suzuki.”

Recall has happened for the second time in a year

For information, let us tell you that this is the second recall of Maruti this year. Earlier, the company had recalled its vehicles in August. At that time, a total of 166 Dezire Tour vehicles were found to have a safety feature defect, due to which they were recalled.

It is worth noting that even at that time only the safety-related features were found to be defective. The company had said that a defect was found in its airbag control unit, due to which the affected cars were recalled.
