  Tata Nexon is currently the best-selling electric car in the country. The company has sold more than 35 thousand units since its launch, which is a big deal in itself. This Tata EV is one of the most affordable electric cars in the country. Although there are some electric cars even cheaper than this, but their sales are very less in front of this vehicle. Tata took to social media to flaunt its arch rival Mahindra’s XUV 400 EV after receiving this mild stone.

The company has a history of taking aim at rival brands through social media posts for various reasons. This time it has targeted Mahindra over the sale of electric vehicles in the country. Tata Motors has taken a dig at the Mahindra XUV400 in a social media post shared on its Tata Passenger Electric Mobility social media handle. The company has also jokingly compared the Tata Nexon EV to the Mahindra XUV400, revealing that it has managed to cross 35,000 sales, while Mahindra’s EV sales currently stand at ’00’.

Nexon, XUV 400 Power

While the Nexon EV has been on sale in the Indian market for quite some time now, the XUV 400 EV will go on sale in the country in January 2023. It will be a direct rival to the Nexon EV. The upcoming XUV 400, introduced earlier in 2022, will be introduced in India as an EV with a range of over 400 km. The new XUV400 EV will be powered by a 39.4 kWh battery pack, which will power an electric motor capable of generating 150 PS of max power and 310 Nm of peak torque. The company claims that this electric car will be able to accelerate from 0-100 km in just 8.3 seconds. Whereas Tata Nexon takes 9 seconds to reach this speed.

Nexon, XUV 400 Range

Talking about the powertrain of Tata Nexon, a 40.5 kWh battery pack has been installed in it, which is capable of giving a range of 437 km on a single charge. At the same time, Mahindra XUV400 is being claimed to give a range of 456 km.
