According to the rules, if the top speed of your scooter is not more than 25 km and your scooter generates maximum power of 250 watts, then you do not need any license to drive it.

You can drive these scooters with ease

(1) Hero Electric Flash LX

The scooter takes four to five hours to fully charge and has an estimated range of 85kmph.

(2) Ampere Rio Plus

It gives a range of up to 65 km on a single charge. The charging time of Rio Plus is up to six hours.

(3) Okinawa R30

The battery pack is capable of delivering a range of 60 km. Can be fully charged in 4-5 hours using a home socket.

16-18-year-olds can also drive this scooter

Children in the age group of 16-18 years can drive e-scooters as part of India’s goal of becoming a fully electric country by 2030. With the aim of promoting electric mobility among motorcyclists and automakers for the first time.
