Toyota has introduced the Innova Highcross (Zenix) in the Indonesian market. The same vehicle is all set to be launched in India on 25th under the name of Innova Highcross. After being unveiled in Indonesia, many details of this vehicle have been revealed, it may be that the same features and powertrain will be given in the new Innova to be introduced in India.
The new MPV is built on Toyota’s modular TNGA-C: GA-C platform. This vehicle will be completely different from the current Innova Crysta, as it can see many major changes both cosmetic and mechanical. The new Innova comes with a monocoque chassis and front-wheel-drive (FWD) set-up.
The MPV looks even more powerful than before. The SUV gets a new front end, a new hexagonal grille with a chrome border, sleek LED headlights, a muscular front bumper with large vents, and a slim LED DRL bar. On the other hand, this vehicle is already looking attractive when seen from the side. It has an 18-inch alloy wheel.
The Indonesia model of the new Innova Genix (2023 Toyota Innova Hycross) gets a 2.0-liter petrol engine. The company has claimed that its mileage can be 20-23 km / l. Thus it is the most economical car in its segment. The hybrid version of the MPV can also run in full-EV mode. This engine option can also be found in the upcoming Hycross in India.
Innova Hycross bookings open in India
While its official launch is yet to happen. Nevertheless, select Toyota dealers in India have started accepting pre-orders for an initial amount of Rs.50,000. The new Innova Highcross will be lighter, more spacious, and more premium than the current Innova Crysta. It will also be high in terms of features and mileage.
